Based on the assumption that the ecological crisis cannot merely be reduced to technical, economic, or environmental governance issues, this study argues that its root lies in the crisis of human consciousness, which gives rise to anthropocentric and exploitative attitudes toward nature. This study employs a library research method with a philosophical approach by analyzing Muhammad Iqbal's The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam and Asrar-i Khudi. The findings reveal that, first, the Philosophy of Khudi views human beings as conscious, free, creative, and morally responsible subjects in their relationship with nature. Second, ecological degradation is understood as a manifestation of the crisis of khudi, resulting from humanity's failure to exercise freedom responsibly. Third, the Philosophy of Khudi offers an active-transformative paradigm of environmental ethics. This study contributes conceptually by positioning khudi as the philosophical foundation of ecological responsibility while enriching the discourse of Islamic environmental ethics through the integration of self-consciousness, spirituality, and ecological action.
Wildan Munawir Ma'ruf, Nano Warno Copyright (c) 2026 EL-ADABI: Jurnal Studi Islam https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/588 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PERSUASI RELIGIUS DAN MOBILISASI SOSIAL DALAM PERANG ACEH https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/600
This study examines Hikayat Prang Sabi as a religious literary work that played a significant role in fostering collective consciousness and mobilizing Acehnese resistance against Dutch colonial rule. It aims to reveal the persuasive strategies employed by the author in integrating religious doctrine, the legitimacy of jihad, and socio-political narratives to construct the identity of Acehnese resistance. This research adopts a qualitative approach using historical and hermeneutic methods to analyze the manuscript's content within the socio-political context of colonial-era Aceh. The findings demonstrate that Hikayat Prang Sabi develops two interrelated persuasive dimensions: an essential dimension that reinforces jihad as a religious obligation, and an instrumental dimension that employs depictions of martyrdom, heavenly rewards, and emotionally evocative symbols to inspire participation in armed struggle. Furthermore, the manuscript strengthens the authority of the ulama, consolidates the relationship between religious scholars and society, and constructs Acehnese identity on the foundation of Islam. These findings confirm that Hikayat Prang Sabi is not merely a literary work but also an effective ideological instrument for social mobilization, collective identity formation, and the legitimization of anti-colonial resistance in Aceh.
Miswari Miswari Copyright (c) 2026 EL-ADABI: Jurnal Studi Islam https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/600 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 KURIKULUM BERBASIS CINTA https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/583
This research aims to understand how a curriculum based on the values of compassion can support the formation of students' emotional resilience. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the PRISMA protocol by searching the Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and SINTA databases (publication period 2021–2026). Of the 214 articles identified, 38 sources including reputable scientific journals, education policy reports, and field studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using Braun and Clarke's six-phase thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study showed three main findings: (1) students' emotional resilience increased significantly when they felt accepted, heard, and valued consistently in the learning process; (2) teachers play a key role through responsiveness and the ability to build a sense of relational security; and (3) an inclusive school environment and well-being-oriented leadership are prerequisites for the sustainability of this approach, especially for students from vulnerable groups. However, its implementation is still constrained by the pressure of the academic system, teacher workload, and lack of affective mentoring training. Based on the synthesis of these findings, this study offers a new pedagogical framework called the Compassion-Integrated Resilience Framework (CIRF), which integrates the principles of a love-based curriculum with strategies to strengthen emotional resilience at the level of classroom interaction, learning environment design, and school policy so as to go beyond just a literature summary and provide operational guidance for education practitioners.
Latifatus Maulida, Muhammad Faqih Irsyad Copyright (c) 2026 EL-ADABI: Jurnal Studi Islam https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/583 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 ANALISIS KOMPARATIF TAFSIR AHKAM KLASIK DAN KONTEMPORER TERHADAP LARANGAN TABARRUJ DALAM QS. AL-AHZAB AYAT 33 https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/418
This study examines the prohibition of tabarruj in Surah Al-Ahzab verse 33 through the perspective of Tafsir Ahkam using a comparative analysis of classical and contemporary interpretations. The study is motivated by the existence of different interpretations of the concept of tabarruj, influenced by social, cultural, and historical contexts. It aims to explain the meaning of tabarruj, compare the interpretations of classical and contemporary Qur'anic exegetes regarding Surah Al-Ahzab verse 33, and analyze its legal implications for Muslim women. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. The primary sources include the Qur'an, classical and contemporary books of tafsir , supported by Hadith, scholarly books, and relevant academic journals. The data were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method with a comparative approach to identify similarities, differences, and interpretative tendencies among the exegetes. The findings reveal that classical exegetes generally interpret tabarruj as the excessive display of adornment, beauty, or parts of the body that may lead to temptation and social disorder. In contrast, contemporary exegetes interpret the prohibition more contextually by emphasizing modesty, dignity, and ethical dress in accordance with Islamic principles while considering modern social realities. This study contributes to the development of Tafsir Ahkam studies by providing a comparative perspective and a more comprehensive understanding of the implementation of the prohibition of tabarruj in the lives of contemporary Muslim women.
Adla Fadila Syahman Cahyani, Zulaika Zulaika, Nur Fadila, Khusnul Khatimah Copyright (c) 2026 EL-ADABI: Jurnal Studi Islam https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/418 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 FRUGAL LIVING DALAM TAFSIR NURUL QURAN KARYA ALLAMAH KAMAL FAQIH IMANI https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/463
The rising cost of living and the spread of a hedonistic lifestyle have created significant financial challenges for society, especially among young people who are often pressured to imitate luxurious lifestyles beyond their financial capacity. Frugal living emerges as a solution, representing a modest and efficient lifestyle that emphasizes wise financial management. This study examines the concept of frugal living from the perspective of Tafsir Nurul Quran by Allamah Kamal Faqih Imani using a qualitative approach with a thematic character analysis method. The focus of this research is the interpretation of Qur’anic verses related to consumption, avoidance of excess (isrāf), and miserliness (iqtar) in Tafsir Nurul Quran, as well as their implications for frugal living practices in daily life. The integration of a modern hermeneutical approach enables a contextual understanding of the text that remains relevant to contemporary realities. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the Islamic foundations of frugal living and serves as a practical guide for managing finances to achieve financial stability and inner peace without falling into consumerisme.
M. However, no comprehensive study has positioned Al-Ghazali, Ibn Arabi, and Jalaluddin Rumi as an interconnected unity that collectively sustains this tradition. This article aims to identify, classify, and interpret the contributions of these three figures in an integrated manner. This study employs a qualitative approach based on library research, utilizing content analysis techniques that are historical-genealogical, conceptual-philosophical, and synthetic-integrative in nature. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali served as the unifier of shari'ah and haqiqah, affirming that both dimensions must operate harmoniously as an inseparable religious unity. Ibn Arabi advanced this tradition by constructing a metaphysical system of wahdat al-wujud, asserting that the entire universe constitutes a gradual manifestation of one absolute existence through the process of tajalli across three levels, namely ahadiyah, wahidiyah, and tajalli syuhudi. Meanwhile, Rumi expressed the pinnacle of theosophical experience through the concept of divine love (mahabbah), traversed through zuhud, thariqah, and the sama' ritual within the Maulawiyah order. This study contributes to enriching academic discourse on theosophical Sufism as a living Islamic intellectual tradition that remains deeply relevant to the spiritual life of contemporary Muslims.
Kuni Nurol Choiriyah, Anggun Wahyu Safitri, Shofil Fikri Copyright (c) 2026 EL-ADABI: Jurnal Studi Islam https://jurnal.stainidaeladabi.ac.id/index.php/eladabi/article/view/563 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000
