Abstract
Community Service Activities in the form of training and mentoring to eradicate illiteracy of the Qur'an using the Iqra method aims to empower the community through coaching, training and mentoring programs to eradicate illiteracy of the Qur'an using the Iqra method in Waringin Jaya Village. This PKM activity was carried out on July 15 - September 25, 2023 at one of the pengajian held in Waringin Jaya, the number was small due to clashes with activities at school and exams held at school. The method of implementing this Community Service activity was in the form of socialization, training and mentoring, which involved students to play an active role in the activity. Based on the results of the implementation of the PKM activity in the form of training and mentoring to eradicate illiteracy of the Qur'an using the Iqra method in Waringin Jaya Village, it can be concluded that the Community Service activities carried out by the Lecturer Team were enthusiastically attended by the participants. This can be seen from the high level of attendance and the results of the evaluation of achievements during the activity, and there were no serious difficulties for participants in understanding the material presented. There was good preparation by the Community Service team and support from stakeholders. This activity went well according to expectations and achieved the planned achievements, such as increasing participants' understanding of the program of coaching, training and mentoring to eradicate illiteracy of the Qur'an using the Iqra method and growing awareness of the importance of maintaining and maintaining the program of coaching, training and mentoring to eradicate illiteracy of the Qur'an. With the Iqra method used by KPM students, it can improve the quality of the younger generation in facing the flow of globalization and for the long term, and is able to produce a creative Quranic generation and provide inspiration for Islamic propagation in Waringin Jaya Village, Bojong Gede District, Bogor.
